A study on Optimization of Combined load between Cartridge and Holder using a GBO Algorithm

Recently, oriental medicine has been increased when the aging population is intensifying and medical expenses for the elderly are increasing. In the oriental medical device market, fine parts are mainly manufactured manually, and this technique is known as a technique that requires very high precision. In order to foster the oriental medicine industry, it is essential to develop complex mold technology for the mass production of oriental medical devices. Cartridges, cartridge holders, etc., which are parts of an automatic magnetic needle, are mass-produced through molds. However, there are cases in which the automatic magnetic needle does not work well during extraction because the cartridge and holder are not properly combined in the molding process. Therefore, the importance of cartridge and cartridge holder manufacturing technology affecting the specification of the automatic magnetic needle and related research is urgently required. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to perform FEM analysis based on the mold process variable conditions and predict the mold process by checking the total deformation, equivalent stress, and safety factor. In addition, the GBO algorithm, an optimization technique, was developed based on the result values derived from structural analysis, objective function and limit function were derived, and the optimal coupling load was selected.
