Data Scraping using Python for Information Retrieval on E-Commerce with Brand Keyword

A marketplace is a place for buying and selling online which is currently widely used by people, especially in Indonesia. The ease of registration when people want to open an online store and sell their products through e-commerce causes problems such as selling branded products by the public where individuals or companies should only sell the product with a license. However, some sellers of several companies lose money because their products are sold illegally and do not meet the resale price standards. In this research, a scraping web application will be built using the Python programming language with the help of the BeautifulSoap library for data extraction. Apps can help companies find products that are being sold illegally. The application has a report feature that makes it easier for companies to report violations committed by unauthorized sellers. Based on testing, the application can search for 33 products within 14.8 seconds. The application interface design is evaluated using eight golden rules and tested for accuracy, 83% precision, and 93% recall value.
