Brain Exercise System Assistant for Elder People

The aging of societies worldwide has led to an increase in the prevalence of dementia, a progressive and debilitating brain disorder that affects memory, cognition, and behavior. To address the challenge of dementia in an aging society, efforts are underway to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent or delay the onset of dementia through education, physical activity, and brain exercise. The feather of the system tries to have a big screen output with an LCD monitor to make things easier to see for elder people and increase the difficulty by one level after each play. The result shows participants tended to use it better, as evidenced by the time of use decrease and the score increase by collecting data for using the system from 50 elder people who used it once a day for a total of 5 days, then recording the time of use and scores obtained from using it each time and analyzing the data by looking for trends. In addition, the elderly are satisfied with the system by asking for satisfaction through a questionnaire about the user interface, user experience, the calculating game, and the Thai word memory game. The results of this research are likely to improve the computational and memory of the elderly. Moreover, they were satisfied with the system at the highest level.
