A Customized Kubernetes Scheduling Algorithm to Improve Resource Utilization of Nodes

This article proposes a customized Kubernetes scheduling algorithm to improve resource utilization of nodes in a cluster. The algorithm is optimized over the default algorithm. The custom algorithm solves two problems, that are setting an appropriate Request value and determining the scoring rule. The article also evaluates the performance of the custom algorithm. It can be seen that the utilization rate of node resources is improved, and load balance between nodes in the cluster is better.
