Design of Food Safety Management Information System for Western Restaurant

Food is the most basic material requirement for people’s development and survival, and the food industry is developing with the improvement of people’s living standards. Food safety is directly related to people’s health and life safety, and then to a country’s economic development and social harmony. At present, unsafe foods frequently appear, and many unsafe foods have led to mass public emergencies, resulting in adverse effects. Based on this, this paper first expounds the related concepts such as food safety and risk management informatization, and demonstrates the importance and necessity of food safety management informatization. Secondly, this paper studies and analyzes the current situation of food safety problems and information management of food safety in western restaurants in China. Finally, based on modern technology, this paper constructs a food safety management information system. The results show that the food safety management information system constructed in this paper has certain superior performance, and its stability can reach 94.19%. This system has certain operability and scientificalness, and it can promote the food safety supervision in catering industry by means of informationization and modernization.
