Modeling of high-speed fiber-IsOWC communication system

A 80Gbps hybrid fiber and intersatellite optical communication (IsOWC) link at 80Gbps traffic rate is proposed in this work. The results shows that the maximum wired fiber and IsOWC distance of 10km and 5500km can be obtained at transmitting pointing error of 0.5microrad. Also, the data rate upto 80Gbps per channel can be achieved over 10km fiber and 5000km IsOWC link successfully. Besides this, the comparative system performance with existing models shows its superiority than others.
