IoT based Smart Prepaid Digital Multi-function Electricity Meter

One of the fundamental requirements of people is electricity, which is frequently used in daily life for home, commercial, and agricultural purposes. The core element of the electrical grid is the energy meter. The utility (Electricity Distribution Company) and consumer can both learn how much electricity is consumed thanks to energy meters. In our project, the recharging mechanism regulates the user's consumption of units. Based on that, the consumer receives electricity that was configured by a NodeMCU unit. Unwanted electricity use is prevented with our project, which ends up being economical. Additionally, because the user learns the units allocated at the moment of recharge itself, manual meter readings are avoided. Energy management in smart homes is the current trend with the development of IOT.
