Design and fabrication of a motorized screw jack

The screw jack is used to lower or raise heavy loads using a simple lead screw mechanism. The mechanism can be utilized to lift the vehicle chassis for maintenance or breakdown repairs. The use of screw jacks increases the mechanical advantage required to raise a vehicle. As a result, it is desired to develop a structure that can utilize the mechanized jack as an automated system, thus reducing human effort. For lifting purposes, the automated system will use the vehicle's battery. The paper attempts to demonstrate methods for overcoming inconvenient situations during the fitting process and troublefree repairs. Furthermore, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) rule 3 and rule 9 concerning human health, infrastructure, innovation, and industry are followed. In addition, the research paper includes both a theoretical and a simulated analysis of the lead screw.
