Optimal Configuration of Distributed Device Container Resources considering Virtual Aggregation Rules and Edge Node Constraints

Based on virtual aggregation of distributed devices in distribution area, this paper studies the optimal allocation of distributed device edge container resources in edge computing scenarios. Firstly, the edge container instance resource configuration architecture is established in the distributed device communication access network. The quotas of container computing, storage, and communication resources are quantified considering the elastic scalability of the container. Considering the constraints of aggregate power and response time, a delay model of distributed device response scheduling instruction is proposed. Based on virtual aggregation service requirements of distributed devices, capacity loss, network communication load, and sensitivity are used to measure the quality of service (QoS). Aiming at the optimal service quality, the container resource allocation model was solved by improving the two-population ant colony algorithm. Finally, compare the mean allocation method of container resources of edge nodes with the optimal allocation method of this paper. The simulation results show that the optimal allocation of container resources based on the two-population ant colony algorithm can shorten the maximum response delay by 4.139s, reduce the average network load of edge nodes by 9.31%, and reduce the loss of available capacity by 5.6% in the regulation process, and improve the quality of service (QoS) of virtual aggregate edge computing services overall.
