Computation of Nodal Electricity Carbon Intensity Based on Graph Parallel Aggregation and Recursion

Accurately accounting for carbon emissions is a fundamental requirement to understand the changing trends in electricity carbon emissions within a country, effectively implement carbon emission reduction initiatives, and promote a green transformation of the economy. The carbon flow can be treated as a virtual network flow in the power system that accompanies the active power flow. In this paper, the concept of nodal carbon intensity is proposed. Based on the adjacency characteristics in calculating node carbon intensity, a graph parallel aggregation and recursion calculation method is proposed. Using a provincial power grid, the proposed and an existing method are analyzed and compared to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
