Analysis of The Influence of Closing Process Parameters on Closing Speed and Spring of Operating Mechanism

The closing speed of spring operating mechanism and contact bounce are important factors affecting the operation of circuit breaker. Firstly, taking CT14 spring operating mechanism as an example, this paper establishes a simplified model of dynamic analysis, then simulates and analyzes the closing process of spring operating mechanism, obtains the influence curves of friction coefficient between components of the mechanism, moving contact mass and closing spring preload on the displacement and speed of moving contact of spring operating mechanism, and analyzes its influence on the closing speed and bounce of operating mechanism, Finally, the influence test of preload on the operating mechanism is established, and the simulation results are verified. This paper can provide a basis for the optimal design of spring operating mechanism.
