A Review of Developments in Wireless and Electrical Engineering

The goal of this section of the History column of the EMC Magazine is to review annually, at high-level, significant contributions to wireless communications and electronics developed to support wireless technology. We will do this by looking back at high-lighted years: 200 years, 150 years, 100 years, and 50 years ago. The information we will display and discuss is heavily borrowed from “History of Wireless” by Tapan K. Sarkar, Robert J. Mailloux, Arthur A. Oliner, Magdalena Salazar-Palma, and Dipak. L.
