Research on Social Responsibility of Digital Platform Enterprise : Tencent as an example

In the era of digital economy, digital technology is developing rapidly and becoming increasingly popular in economic and social life, but in the process of rapid expansion, China's digital development has also exposed many more prominent social problems, such as hidden dangers of network security and obvious regional disparities. Taking Tencent, a typical representative platform enterprise, as an example, this paper will explore the social responsibility requirements of digital platform-based enterprises using the single-case analysis method and the rooted theory case study method, enrich the literature on the social responsibility of digital platform-based enterprises, provide a theoretical basis for strengthening the social responsibility governance of digital platform enterprises, and provide meaningful insights for government departments to improve policies related to the governance of digital platforms.
