Routing path discovery in WSN based on Energy consumption and average delay- Centralized & Distributed approach

Wireless sensor networks comprise several sensor nodes that may be positioned in different environmental conditions. WSNs are made up of low-power sensor nodes and these nodes fail to communicate with one another for a variety of reasons, such as natural factors, fallacious routing paths and electromagnetic interference. A faulty route path need not necessarily be a dead sensor node's path. It could be the path where the nodes are providing incorrect data or an unreliable node is present, which leads to lowering the efficiency of the sensor nodes and reducing the reliability and quality. The major motivation of this paper is to discover a correct routing path using the two approaches, the centralized approach and the distributed approach, comparison of the efficiency and fidelity of the approaches is done. The two methods are analyzed through simulations of the cooja simulator. As a result, a better routing path is discovered based on the fault route detection process, considering parameters such as the detection accuracy, energy consumption and delay.
