A Polymer Sensor Integrated T-Shirt for Long-Term Monitoring Of Sleep Disordered Breathing

Sleep-disordered breathing is a condition that is becoming increasingly common in today. It is a rigidly necessary state that affects everyone. Standard sleep is a disorganised kind of relaxation that rely on in-lab polysomnography, whereas during sleep at home, test gadgets are evolving into a dynamically faraway. Everyoneis often only need to do a few night recordings because the two systems are so large, and the data are compiled independently. This study describes the design, functionality, and early findings from the innovative IoT technology. To detect respiration rate, the proposed device uses an accelerometer and electro resistive polymer sensors to obtain the information about actigraphy and heart. The proposed model employs microcontroller with Wi-Fi module to stream and move data into IoT cloud. Real-time sleep monitoring is necessary to overcome the sleep-disordered breathing. To overcome this problem, this study has developed awireless sleep monitoring system which is known as T-shirt. The low-cost smart t-shirt technology can save time and money by eliminating time-consuming treatments and continuously monitoring sleep apnea.
