Soldier Health Detection and Position Tracking System using LoRaWAN Sensor for Low Power and Long-Range Access

This study intends to design and develop a novel low-power, long-range, and user-friendly tracking system for soldiers. Currently, Soldiers are experiencing a number of challenges while communicating with the control room and obtain critical medical attention at the appropriate time and location. These challenges may eventually lead to a soldier's death. The proposed technique overcomes the limitations of standard military tracking systems. The proposed method employs a single module to continually monitor the soldier's health status. The sensors improve the functioning of the proposed model, making it more accessible to both soldiers and control room. For military safety, the proposed soldier health status observation and position tracking system makes use of Internet of Things (IoT) framework. A wearable device is used to connect a strip-based LoRaWAN module to the soldier's body. It continuously measures health parameters such as oxygen level, heart rate, temperature and blood pressure. The Internet of Things (IoT) has increased the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed system as well as its analytical characteristics.
