Detecting and preventing of DOS attacks in an IOT based Wireless Sensor Network

WSN are more susceptible to various types of attacks due to their remote wireless nature and humanunattended environment. Intruders may visit these networks intentionally or unintentionally. The proposed algorithms for identifying DOS attacks and determining whether an intruder is present. Using multiple base stations and a key, this detection method tries to stop DOS attacks on IoT-based wireless sensor networks. The use of the best protocol results in the greatest possible reduction of energy consumption. As a result, there is less overhead and more data is delivered. Data is delivered at a rate of one hundred percent when multiple base stations are used. The Packet Delivery Ratio is increased as a result, extending the network's lifespan. The singular hubs are given greater security, adding security to hubs will consume more energy hence lessening the lifetime. The attacks will be detected and prevented by the proposed protocols, which will control the overhead, increase the number of packets delivered, and extend the wireless sensor networks' lifespan.
