Development of an Algorithm for Constructing a Route Based on the Data of GPX-Files

The task of determining the optimal route is a well-known difficult optimization problem in graphs theory. This problem is often considered in various fields, for example, for building travel routes in cities and nature reserves. The paper presents the implementation of the algorithm for finding the shortest path and building a tourist route from a given point A to point B. To build routes based on existing gpx files, Dijkstra's algorithm has been modified, which allows to obtain an optimal gpx track with data preprocessing. An assessment of the quality of the proposed algorithm for constructing routes was carried out, which showed the efficiency of constructing the shortest path and the high performance of the developed system.
