Realtime Embedded Smart Jacket System for Coal Miners

An engineer is a person who is always striving to find the most effective solutions to societal problems in response to shortages. Our Safety jacket aims to address this issue by introducing a wearable smart jacket that is designed to protect coal miners' lives. The jacket will monitor various health-related parameters including the presence of hazardous gas, pulse rate, temperature, humidity, location within the mine, and Global Positioning System location. This information will be transmitted via Wi-Fi to a dynamic IP, allowing for continuous monitoring of the miners' activities and enabling quick action in emergency situations. The proposed wearable system not only provides the current Global Positioning System location, but also sends updates on the miner's heart rate to the base camp, so that rescue efforts can prioritize saving as many lives as possible in the event of a disaster.
