Communication using RedTacton Devices for Tourism development

Technology that enables communication between humans and nearby objects is essential to any user-friendly services. In order to connect equipment situated in, on, or close to the human body, Body Coupled Communication (BCC) systems employ the human body as the medium through which a signal is carried. Three tiers of connectivity are required for the implementation of ubiquitous services: local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and human area networks (HAN) for communication to shared data, media, and communication devices inside the considerably smaller communication regions. Using surface of human body as a fast and secure network transmission line is a technique called RedTacton which offers a wide range of applications, including wearable technology, user identification management, marketing, intuitive applications, and smartphones. In this work, an effective communication between RedTacton devices with Arduino UNO board is developed for tourism applications. This model achieved half-duplex communication at a 10Mbit/ s rate is supported by the human body as a transmission medium.
