A Research Survey on Security Enhancement in WSN-based IoT Applications

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a contemporary technology that makes it possible to connect physical and digital devices. The Wireless Sensor Network is a substantial wireless network used to monitor the environment and relay the results to users. Security and energy efficiency are both seen as crucial factors in WSN-based IoT that are concerned with extending network lifetime. Researchers used a variety of approaches to create a smart security system to address the aforementioned issues. A variety of performance indicators is used to validate the generated systems in their study. In this research, the history of IoT, WSN, the significance of WSN in IoT, and the taxonomy of the many IoT layers are briefly discussed. Additionally, various approaches, system performances & their results, benefits, and limits are briefly explored in the sections of literature survey and comparative analysis.
