Modeling of a Smart Antenna System with Adaptive Beam Forming Technology

A smart antenna can reduce noise, improve the signal-to-noise ratio, and improve system performance. In a smart antenna, the diversity effect point out to the sending and receiving of different RF waves min order to boost communication speed and lower error rates. Since they offer a wide bandwidth, less electromagnetic interference, flexibility, less weight, phase control independent of frequency, and low propagation loss, smart antennas are thought as an efficient remedy to increase the channel capacity and bandwidth and to lessen channel disruption. Different kinds of antenna arrays are used with the smart antenna idea. In this work, a DOA method that lowers bit error rate and boosts signal to noise ratio is proposed. For equally spaced linear arrays steered to broadside, the weights and current excitations are calculated using the Dolph Chebyshev technique. The ability to choose side lobe levels and determine the minimum null-null beam width is the method's key benefit for pattern synthesis.
