Leading Talent Management: Empirical investigation on Applicant Tracking System (ATS) on e-Recruitment Performance

Talent management through e-recruitment involves leveraging technology to identify, attract, and retain top talent. E-recruitment includes various digital tools and platforms, such as online job boards, social media, and mobile apps, to reach a wider pool of candidates. E-recruitment can help organizations save time and resources, increase efficiency and effectiveness in the hiring process, and ultimately, attract and retain the best talent. The need of exploring these concepts empirically were not considered before, therefore this research was aimed to empirically examine the impact on applicant tracking system on talent management with mediating role of e-recruitment. The data from 24 5 star hotels based in Dubai UAE were incorporated to assess the study hypothesis. 221 respondent’s data were used to assess through SmartPLS 4.0 software using PLS-SEM algorithm. The findings suggested hospitality sector often face challenges in attracting and retaining top talent due to large demand of skilled and trained people. However, an applicant tracking system (ATS) can be a valuable tool for hotels management to increase their talent management efforts through e-recruitment.
