Performance evaluation of FiWi based OCDMA system

Optical fiber cable is lacking to communicate over various geographical restriction areas at less cost, long distance and high bandwidth. To minimize the fiber installation cost, a hybrid fiber-wireless (FiWi) link can be used to improve the flexibility and system bandwidth in diverse areas to connect anywhere and anytime with end users. Thus in this work a hybrid FiWi based optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) system using modified new zero cross correlation (MNZCC) code at 40Gbps data rate has been presented. The results depict that the system offers 4000m wireless as well as 40km wired range with high security. Additionally, the proposed design is an optimum than other previous works.
