Wind - Battery Controller Based Standalone Alternating Current Microgrid Applications

This research paper describes a wind-battery-based standalone AC micro grid system that can provide reliable and uninterrupted power to off-grid applications. The proposed system consists of a wind turbine, a battery bank, and an inverter that work together to generate and store electricity, which can be utilized to power critical loads in a standalone micro grid. The microcontroller controls the energy flow between the wind turbine, battery bank, and load to ensure a stable and continuous power supply. The system’s performance is evaluated using simulation, which demonstrates that the proposed system is capable of effectively providing reliable and uninterrupted power to standalone micro grids, making it a promising solution for remote and off-grid areas.
