Brainwave Sensor based Smart Home Controller for Paralysed People

This study shows an electroencephalogram (EEG)-controlled smart home system designed to help the elderly, the crippled, and paralyzed individuals. For those who are paralyzed and experiencing mobility issues, it can be challenging to stay up with new technology improvements. Technologies for brain-computer interfaces provide a potential answer to this issue. This study demonstrates a brain-controlled, EEG signal-based home automation system that can assist persons who are physically challenged or paralyzed. A machine learning algorithm like the Random Forest algorithm, which is based on EEG signals, would be used in a home automation system for people with paralysis. To examine the brain’s activity during the experiment, the EEG signal is retrieved. It can decipher brainwave patterns and transform them into instructions for operating various home appliances. The outcomes are consistent with the experiment’s employment of the command, standby, focus, and running modes. The created solution is very likely to be employed in smart automation and is simple to apply in smart homes.
