Analysis of Some Popular AI & ML Algorithms Used in Agriculture

The use of AI technology has been evident in the field of agriculture recently. The different AI techniques provide a lot of benefits comprising forecasting of diseases, prediction of rainfall and climate variations, weed detection and so on. AI technology has gained so much importance in this sector due to its high accuracy in solving problems, flexibility, cost-effectiveness and better performance as compared to conventional methods. In this paper, some of the AI and ML techniques like Neural Network, Genetic Algorithms, Fuzzy Logic, Support Vector Machine and K-Nearest Neighbor have been discussed along with their advantages, disadvantages and applications in the field of agriculture.
