Modeling and Simulation of propagation models for selected LTE propagation scenarios

In this paper for system and link levels of various propagation models, channel models are presented. Models were developed from LTE channel models. In-door, indoor-to-outdoor, outdoor-to-indoor, and rural networks are the propagation scenarios discussed. A conformation-based random channel modelling methodology is used in the proposed channel model, allowing for the developing of random double directional radio channel models. The Statistical distributions extrapolat-ed from channel measurement are used to create a sto-chastic model for channel parameters. By employing the same methodology but varying the parameters, many scenarios are modelled. This deliverable contains the parameter tables for each scenario for both line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) situations. The pa-rameterization, use of the regular forming resemblance for both indoor and outdoor conditions, new structures like indoor-to-outdoor and outdoor-to-indoor, elevation in indoor scenarios, smooth time and space evolution of large-scale and small-scale channel parameters, and scenario-dependent polarisation modelling are the novel features of the proposed models. The models can be scaled from a single-input-single-output (SISO) or mul-tiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) link to a multi-link MIMO scenario that takes into account polarisation among other radio channel parameters. The suggested models can be used to any wireless system, not just LTE systems. The models support numerous antenna tech-nologies, many users, multiple cells, multiple hops, and polarisation.
