Predicting the COVID-19 Outbreak

This paper focuses on the use of mathematical modelling of propagation dynamics of infectious diseases. We use the discrete logistic model to propose a simple method to determine the start of coronavirus outbreak. Further, we apply the proposed method on real data of confirmed coronavirus cases from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our results suggested that the proposed method can be used for raising an alarm of coronavirus outbreak.
