Design of Monitoring System for Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Supply System in Laboratory

A monitoring system is studied and designed in this paper for the wind-solar hybrid power supply system in laboratory. The monitoring system is mainly composed of wind power generation unit, photovoltaic power generation unit, battery energy storage unit, load unit and control unit. The core controllers used in wind-solar hybrid power supply system are Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The monitoring system adopts serial port communication mode Recommend Standard 232 (RS232) and Recommend Standard 485 (RS485) communication modes. At the same time, based on the three-dimensional force control configuration software, different monitoring interfaces are designed, including Identity Login Management Interface, Complementary Operation Interface, Data Acquisition Interface and Load Unit Monitoring Interface. The important information can be real-time detected, collected and displayed, such as the data and information of photovoltaic power station, wind power station, energy storage battery, load, and the communication status during the operation of the system. The complementary scheduling operation and control of the wind-solar hybrid power supply system are realized by controlling the corresponding operation buttons on the monitoring interfaces. The effective control and monitor of the designed monitoring system are verified through experiments, and the intelligent management of the wind-solar hybrid power supply system is realized.
