Ultralow-threshold Continuous-wave Quantum Dot Lasers Based on Minituarized Bound States in the Continuum

Bound states in the continuum(BICs) provides an ideal tool for lasing with its excellent ability to confine light. Here continuous-wave quantum dot laser with an ultra-low threshold and small mode-volumes is fabricated based on miniaturized-BICs.
