Variation of these factors in the organic photovoltaic module dominates the $I-V$ and PV properties. Since the cost of producing Organic photovoltaic solar cells has decreased over the past two decades and efficiency has improved, there has been a growth in the demand for solar power. Additionally, the ongoing depletion of traditional energy sources and the pollution issue promote the use of solar energy as a source of electrical energy worldwide. The current study centralizes the literature’s work on Organic photovoltaic solar cell parameter extraction, which might be very helpful for both researchers and the world’s leading manufacturers of Organic photovoltaic solar cell modules. Due to the low maintenance cost, free availability, and continual reduction in production costs, solar power is the preferred unconventional energy source. Overall, the research gap between traditional solar cells and OPV solar cells is centered around increasing the efficiency and durability of OPV solar cells, while also reducing their cost of production.
