Design and Simulation of low power composite flipped follower based bulk driven Operational Transconductance Amplifier

Low-power and high-gain are the key parameters of the operational transconductance amplifier (OTA). However, acceptable values for these parameters are hard to achieve owing to the requirement of high supply voltages imposed by them. In this work, composite flipped voltage follower and composite partial positive feedback techniques-based bulk driven OTA is proposed by means of 0.18 μm CMOS technology node which delivers gain of 69.1 dB, power dissipation of 4 μW, gain-bandwidth of 32 kHz and FOM of 120. The proposed composite flipped voltage follower and composite partial positive feedback techniques-based bulk driven OTA is expected to be used in biomedical applications.
