Design of an Efficient WSN with Reducing Energy and Overlapping Coverage Area

This paper proposes a design of an effective Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) by reducing energy consumption as well as overlapping coverage areas. In this paper, the author has aimed to minimize consumed energy and maximize coverage area by minimizing the overlapping area between two adjacent target areas. Various models for energy consumption and minimizing overlapping coverage areas have been suggested in this paper. Using those models one can easily develop the network and compare the energy required to carry on the network to maintain the efficient WSN. The model has been compared with another existing model and it has resulted that the proposed model can achieve better performance than the existing model.
