Research on Fusion Location Positioning Technology in Power Business

satellite plays an important role in the field of power safety production, and its functions such as positioning, navigation and timing are widely used. In outdoor open area, Beidou system has been able to provide reliable positioning results. However, the satellite signal cannot cover the indoor area, which is the basic condition of satellite positioning. 5G system has the advantages of dense networking, large bandwidth and multiple antennas. Through the deep integration of Beidou and 5G, a seamless indoor and outdoor positioning system can be built. This paper first introduces the application of positioning technology in power industry. Then, fusion location positioning technologies based on Beidou and 5G are analyzed. Finally, the performance of fusion location positioning technology is simulated. Results show that the fusion location positioning technology can well support the application of power business.
