Magneto-Static Analysis of a shower tray trap

This article presents study of magnet on shower tray trap. 3D model of the magnetic shower tray trap is designed and based on its dimensions a 2D model of magnets is created and magneto-static analysis is conducted. The main objective of this study is to compare the performance of various magnetic materials. The study of magneto static analysis is conducted and then force and torque induced by the interaction between iron based permanent magnets is calculated The geometric modelling of components are designed using SOLIDWORKS software. Then the model is imported to ANSYS Maxwell where the 2D analysis is conducted. Cost analysis is also conducted at the final stage to select the magnet for the trap.
