Research on Distributed Phase Modifier Configuration Method for Short Circuit Ratio Requirements

The MRSCR of renewable energy multi-station short-circuit ratio can visually and effectively measure the voltage strength of renewable energy multi-station access system, and the distributed regulator can make the short-circuit ratio of renewable energy stations effectively better to effectively avoid the renewable energy stations to reduce power output and maintain the system’s stable operation. Therefore, in the face of the increasing proportion and importance of renewable energy generation, to research the optimal configuration of distributed regulator for short-circuit ratio demand has great practical value. This thesis theoretically deduces the definition and calculation method of MRSCR of renewable energy multi-station short-circuit ratio, gives its general formula, and analyzes the factors affecting MRSCR and its critical value; analyzes and compares different methods (centralized, distributed and hierarchical decentralized) for optimal configuration of distributed regulators. On this basis, the configuration method of the distributed type of the dimmer is chosen based on the lowest point of MRSCR configuration. Finally, with the measured data of a large renewable energy base in northern China, the PSD-BPA SCCP short-circuit calculation program is used to check on the simulation calculation of the method proposed in Chapter 3 of this thesis to configure the distributed phase modifier at the lowest node of the short-circuit ratio. The calculation results prove the effectiveness of this method phase modifier configuration.
