Intelligent Navigation Learning Platform for Smart Ship Base on Hybrid Programming with Matlab and Unity

Intelligent navigation plays a vital role in intelligent ship, this paper proposes an intelligent navigation Learning Platform for smart ship base on hybrid programming with Matlab and Unity. An improved VO method is proposed to deal with the real-time obstacle collision of smart ship. Matlab is used to build its motion numerical calculation model and Unity is adopted to process the 3D real-time display in the simulation, the data transmission between these two modules is conducted with dynamic link library, the results show that the platform effectively improve the accuracy of ship motion and has satisfactory display effect, it could effectively enhance the learning effect compared with the conventional multimedia teaching method.
