A Review: Analysis of Various Encryption Techniques for securing Cloud Data

Security of Data is an exigent issue while encrypting data in cloud computing. Recently, we came to know about various attacks which breach the confidentiality of users or client information. Most of those attacks break the security of existing standards which concern the integrity, authenticity, and identification of user information. Encryption is a technique which converts the normal or readable text or data in some impenetrable text or data (i.e. cipher-text) by using some mathematical technique. Algorithms are the mathematical techniques used in the encryption process. In this paper, we will look at various common encryption schemes such as DES, AES, RSA, ECC, and RC5. These algorithms are evaluated based on several generally used criteria such as size, design, and speed. Finally, we conclude by analysis of all encryption techniques and suggesting the appropriate scheme for cloud computing.
