Grayness Comparison of UV and Latex Ink on Vinyl Substrate Printed by Large Format Printing (LFP)

The printing and packaging industries are highly influencing segment in world economy. The LFP is emerging part of printing and packaging industries. In LFP printing various kind of printing inks are used but ultra violetand latex ink is the most widely used on plastic substrate like vinyl. Therefore apart from other factors colorimetric measurement of print quality factor are essential to ensure high print quality. For rapiddigital production in the printing and packaging industries better print quality is still required. The print quality is major factor for any printing and packaging. The grayness factor is most essential part of the colorimetric values. Grayness can be measured by the spectrophotometer. In the research work, the most commonly substrate vinyl is considered for comparative analysis of grayness of UV and latex ink printed by LFP segment.
