Analysis of Secure Locking Techniques on Smart Phones

Nowadays, every individual depends upon technology for storing and accessing their sensitive and important data. Therefore, security of such kind of data is mandatory and it could be possible only to use security applications and locks on smart devices like screen locks on mobile phone, laptop and desktop computer. This is a comparative study where various kinds of the home screen security locks are discussed such as finger detection lock, pattern base lock, security pin, voice recognition and face detection lock. In this paper a primary data are taken through a small public survey via Google form and on the basis on their responses Google report is generated that shows the security lock are chosen by majority of people and also provide the reason to choose that particular lock. The main motive behind this research is to spread awareness on security in the society for protecting important data.
