Research on Personnel Precise Positioning System Based on UWB Technology

To improve the accuracy of personnel positioning, avoid the threat to the personal safety of workers in complex environments, and realize the real-time perception of the spatial location of personnel, this paper introduces UWB technology to develop a new personnel precise positioning system. According to the design requirements, the positioning system architecture is developed. Taking the server and tag equipment as an example, the hardware equipment selection of the system is carried out. Under the support of the hardware equipment, the UWB technology is introduced to carry out the personnel space ranging. The coordinate map conversion technology is introduced to correct and feedback the personnel positioning and ranging feedback information, and the development and design of the positioning system are completed. Taking an operation site as an example, an application experiment is designed. The experimental results show that the developed system has a high positioning accuracy for personnel in practical application, and the positioning deviation can be controlled within 1.5 m, which can provide comprehensive personal safety protection for operators under complex conditions.
