Design of a Multi Band Slot Coupled Microstrip Antenna

With the development of science and technology, electronic communication system has been widely used in the field of ships. The operation of these equipment is mostly accompanied by the conversion of current and energy, and the antenna is the bridge of transmitting and receiving signals. When the high-frequency electromagnetic signals fill the space around the ship and form a complex electromagnetic environment, electromagnetic compatibility technology is very important. From the perspective of electromagnetic compatibility technology, a multi band antenna with cross aperture coupling feed is designed in the antenna field. Through a feeding port, microstrip side feeding and slot coupling feeding are realized. It has the characteristics of four working frequency bands, high gain and low profile, and is more suitable for multi terminal communication environment. The antenna has four resonance points, which are 3.2GHz, 4.7 GHz, 5.9 GHz and 6.9 GHz respectively. The return loss at these frequencies is less than - 15dBi. At 3.2 GHz and 5.9 GHz, the antenna has strong directivity and opposite directivity. It can be applied to multi terminal directional antenna system to avoid antenna opposite radiation loss. At 4.7 GHz and 6.9 GHz, it shows omnidirectivity.
