Developments of A Remote Online Wind Laboratory Experimental Setup for Repository MOOCs

Massive Open Online Courses, which are made up using web platforms, offer a convenient and economical method of education. Engineering disciplines require a practical component that is crucial but difficult to complete and not offered in repository MOOCs in renewable energy field. Even though small-scale remote laboratory facilities are helpful, their capabilities, operational boundaries, and accessibility are constrained, making them ineffective for supporting collaborative work and research. The primary goals of this lab are to perform research on wind potential analysis and generation as well as experiments for master's students on wind power generation, system components, operation, instrumentation, taking measurements and analyses, and simulation. This lab offers hardware resources for vertical and horizontal turbines of the residential scale and runs on PLC SCADA technology. The MOOC platform developed under the stackable master degree program of EUSL-energy project that is currently host under https://time.learnify.se/repository.
