Smart Home Security System using IoT and ESP8266

Anyone who owns or rents a home must have home security to protect their belongings during workdays and vacations. Manually monitoring the house throughout the day is nearly impossible. This increases the likelihood of theft and burglary. It is also possible that elderly people or children, who are alone at home can face an unanticipated accident. It is obvious that some technology assisted support is required, which is where the concept of smart home security system is introduced. Smart home security systems can highly assist in ensuring the safety and security of home. This helps to monitor the unusual activities in and around the home from any location and at any time. With the recent technological advances, there is an increasing need to develop advanced home security systems due to an increase in home burglaries and fire accidents. As a result, this research work has designed and developed a novel model to meet the requirement.
