Performance evaluation of Autonomous and Connected Electric Vehicles (ACEVs) towards buying intention in India: Forward trend in energy efficiency

Performance evaluation of autonomous and connected electric vehicles (ACEVs) with consumers' buying behaviour will assist the consumer community towards decision making. The views of EV owners as unconventional, consumer behaviour and perception of the next-generation vehicular revolution analysed towards adopting electric vehicles as it is in transformative stages in India. This study endeavours to better understand consumers' buying intentions toward ACEVs. The methodology is analysis with descriptive Statistics and exploratory factor analysis using the data collected through primary sources with data collection formulated with a review of secondary research concerning the Indian Automobile Industry. The analysis predicts consumer attitudes toward automated vehicles. The findings render the understanding of the purchase intention against the performance evaluation basis recognised theories of consumer behaviour with emphasis on objectivity in decision-making and the rationale for satisfaction within the performance parameter. The implications are for the industry forming the perception of willing consumers with an evaluation of parameters of acceptance toward these adoptions of electric and autonomous vehicles. The study outcomes give insights which are quintessential to businesses with determinants related to the adoption of this revolution which can benefit businesses, policymakers and marketers in building their strategies..
