IoT Based Real Time Automatic Energy Management System Using Adafruit Cloud

In recent few year, Internet of Things had automated the many things to reduce human interaction due to their hectic and busy routine in almost every field or sector in the hole world, IOT has also entered in the homes, its main objective is to provide convenience through remote control or fully automatic appliances with wireless communication to fulfil the human wishes to perform a task on single click button and to improve life standards with increasing day by day technology. Now a days everyone wants IOT data to store on the platform that is Scalable, flexible and easily access from anywhere that's why cloud had been introduced, Adafruit cloud provides better decisions relating to IOT through graphs, charts, logging, gauges and website-based dashboard. IOT based home automation is the most popular field relating to the domestics, the smart home appliances significantly improved the life by providing convenience in turning on and off automatically using IOT. Due to this emerging technology we have deployed a better solution with a unique method for room automation which enhance the performance, efficiency, reliability and energy management of lights, fans and all other power consuming device. The main component used in our research is PIR sensor, DTH11, LDR, Node MCU, Servo Motor and Arduino Mega as a single board microcontroller unit for monitoring and controlling all the sensors and actuators and Adafruit cloud for storing and monitoring the data relating to these IOT devices. By using these simple and low-cost devices we have provided a solution for two main problems usually faced by the end user in this paper.
