Secure Remote Health Monitoring System and assessment using IOT

The health of people has been deteriorating due to inconsistent monitoring. For providing a better monitoring system with a more conducive model, the health model has been proposed. The proposed model consists of the 4 layers namely the web services, cloud, and android and embedded layers. The web services are used for frontend display and are provided for the end user for monitoring and the cloud for the critical analysis. Utilizing an Android layer, the server was fed with actual sensor information. The embedded technology gathers medical data. For safe data transmission from the Android to the cloud via Bluetooth module, homomorphic based encryption is used (HC-05). The final output consists of the various health indications with the output displayed as critical, normal or dangerous. According to this output, necessary action is taken by the administrator who is monitoring the patient's vitals. The proposed system can be utilized in hospitals and in army based health camps for consistent monitoring of patients. It can also be utilized in homes for elderly people, where the consistent and secure monitoring of patients is necessary. To connect with the numerous sensors, including the temperature sensor and heart rate monitor, the Arduino nano microcontroller is used in this project as a gateway. The microcontroller gathers sensor data, delivers it to the network, and subsequently offers real-time monitoring of the healthcare parameters.
