Design and Analysis of Electric All Terrain Vehicle Using CAE Evaluation

The various events are held for engineering students worldwide by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). One such competition is EBAJA, where students create an electric all-terrain, single-seat car by designing, analysing, simulating, fabricating, and validating it. The design team set out to follow SAE rules while achieving the best production cost, weight, overall aesthetics, and performance. This paper studies the analysis of the ATV using Computer Aided Engineering. The paper encloses the design under ATV to ensure the safety, reliability and maintenance under the analysis of computational fluid analysis, multibody dynamics and thermal analysis. The computational fluid analysis is used to obtain the pressure and velocity flow of an air around vehicle. The multibody dynamics is used to obtain the force under forward dynamics and the thermal analysis is used to obtain the steady flow and transient conditions.
