Survey on Security Risks in 5G Private Industrial Networks

To realize the “Internet of Everything”, the 5G network is used for communication among people and also between people and things. 5G networks are constantly growing which has become one of the key areas of infrastructure and various industries have designed and developed 5G technologies to use in their innovative applications and significantly expanding innovative opportunities. However, like every technology has a few loopholes to carry on research to overcome, even this new technology 5G network, has a few drawbacks to overcome in which one of which is a security risk, due to its new services, and new architecture. So, it is important to strengthen the architecture of 5G concerning security and address the security issues that arise as a result of communication technology shortcomings. Also, security attacks have increased in past few years by making detection and prevention is a global challenge. This paper will be focusing on the relevant application scenario of the 5G network to carry out the analysis of the security risk and its counterparts by enabling technologies used to build the 5G security model.
